Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYPUMP™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

BODYPUMP™ is designed to improve strength and endurance in the major muscle groups and, in doing so, burn calories. We use carefully chosen music tracks to guide you through the class with maximum effect. The usual length of each class is 60 minutes.


Tracy Mitton

Tracy's initial interest in becoming a studio instructor was sparked through personal training. Tracy wasn't the trainer but the client and over time realised that her interest in the subject coupled with her drive and determination to succeed would make fitness more than just a hobby. Tracy works extremely hard when training for her own ends and following her personal training intervention has competed in both half marathon and triathlon events. Tracy trained to become a Body Pump instructor in January 2010 after seeking advice from the staff and customers at Balance. Tracy's enthusiasm for fitness is infectious and the more she learns, the more she improves, the more she wants to give back to fitness.

Tracy's transformation from class participant and gym goer to fully qualified fitness instructor has been an exciting journey and one that she has enjoyed hugely.

Away from Balance Health clubs Tracy is an advanced skills teacher, a position that lends her the opportunity to improve provision of education in and around the county. Tracy qualified as a teacher 14 years ago and since then has lived and taught in Germany, Spain and Belgium and still finds all aspects of educating fascinating. Motivation of reluctant pupils is her speciality and perhaps this, combined with her lifelong interest in fitness makes Tracy the ideal candidate to become a fitness instructor, Tracy is excited about the future and looks forward to developing her skill set to become a more experienced instructor.
