Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast! Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new BODYPUMP™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.

BODYPUMP™ is designed to improve strength and endurance in the major muscle groups and, in doing so, burn calories. We use carefully chosen music tracks to guide you through the class with maximum effect. The usual length of each class is 60 minutes.


Martine Henderson

Martine has worked in the fitness industry for nearly a decade now. Martine's first discipline to teach was studio cycling. She gained her qualification with Tomahawk in 2002. After Martine's success and enjoyment teaching studio cycling she decided to broaden her skill set and began in 2006 to undertake her Exercise to music qualification. Exercise to music is the discipline that underpins everything from basic aerobic sessions to the ever increasing popularity of Body Combat. Upon completion of this qualification Martine received an influx of offers to teach for a range of fitness providers. Martine then took on a further challenge and completed her Aqua Aerobics qualification with L.A. fitness in 2007.

By this time Martine knew that she wanted to increase her abilities in the studio and took the decision to challenge herself with Body Training systems (BTS). The first BTS qualification that Martine embarked upon was the Body Pump instructor certificate. She enjoyed this so much that she added Body Combat to her growing list of qualifications last year. Next year Martine wants to complete her Body Attack instructor certificate and we're sure she'll be great at this too. Martine loves the fitness industry and is one of those lucky people who have the opportunity to earn money from their passion.

Martine's long term goal is to compete in the London Marathon. Given all that she's achieved so far we won't doubt that she'll do this to the best of her ability.
