
Lisa Cartwright's FITBUG Story
My Fitbug is my very own personal trainer. I live, eat and sleep (literally I have actually gone to bed with it) Fitbug. It’s a tiny electronic motivating machine. Fitbug works on the basis of firstly understanding how you tick on a day-to-day basis, what you eat and what activity you do. Each day you upload your Fitbug stats (steps to the rest of us) and your food intake. It takes probably 10 minutes out of your day to do this; you can, of course, do it every couple of days.
Once you have gone through the first week of assessments, it then gives you a report and sets you targets to achieve. It starts off with a relatively easy week, in my opinion to warm you up, and then at the end of each week it sends you a report, updating and increasing your targets. I went from using the gym twice a week to four times a week. I even take my dog out for hour long walks now, just to do those extra steps at the end of the day.
This is the most motivated I have been in a long while, I don’t like to be beaten, especially by a gadget. I love the fact that Fitbug send you text messages to congratulate you if you have done exceptionally well and also send you ones of encouragement if you haven’t.
I recommend Fitbug for everyone. It's fantastic!
