Balance Health Clubs Lightspace Play Floor gets invited to Blue Peter !

Locally based Balance Health Club, who own the Lightspace Play floor, were invited to the BBC Blue Peter Studios this week.

The Lightspace Play Floor was central to the Blue Peter show, to be aired on Wednesday 12th December 2007, BBC 1 at 5pm. Andy and Zoe, two of the Blue Peter presenters used the floor to demonstrate exciting ways of burning off those extra Christmas calories whilst improving their memories at the same time.

The 9m sq Lightspace Floor made up of touch sensitive floor tiles has eight different interactive games. Up to six players can play the games at a time by moving around the floor and stepping on the tiles.

With the growing problem of obesity, particularly in children, the interactive floor provides a fun solution. It is getting kids active and having fun whilst still playing computer games. Balance Health Clubs have the only Lightspace Play floor in the UK, and it is utilised by all ages of children at the club, from those in the Creche to teenagers looking for a bit of fun!
